Back in July, we told you about a handset called the the Meizu MX3. The phone is top-shelf all the way from the 13MP camera on back, to the Exynos 5 Octa SoC under the hood. The 5.1 inch screen carries resolution of 1080 x 1920 and where we were growing up, that was called FHD, Mister. And there is more to the MX3 that makes those reading about this bad boy yearn for it to escape to a major carrier. Android 4.2 is driving the phone and Meizu even has its own Flyme 3.0 UI, which is a modded Android 4.2 with capabilities for one-handed use.

What makes us eager to write about the Meizu M3 is not the new press photo of the device, although it does show some changes since we showed you the device last month. The flash, which was above the camera lens earlier, is now below the snapper. No, what gave us the impetus to mention the handset is a leaked image that shows the different versions of the phone starting with the 16GB model (and even here there is one 16GB version with NFC support and one model without) ranging to the 32GB model, the 64GB variant and the 128GB  Meizu MX3.

The 16GB variant is rumored to be priced at 1999 CNY which translates into $327 USD. But it might take more to impress your friends, so figure that the 128GB model of the Meizu M3 will run you the same as other flagship phones which means you might have to whip out six Benjamins to take the handset home with all of that native storage on board.

Meizu hasnt made this official yet, but the unveiling is said to be taking place soon. Even so, its a shame that we might never see this model take flight from the China region.

A new tablet has been sneakily outed by the lately slumbering HP, and its actually good enough on paper to raise questions as to why it wasnt drummed up by the company. Weve only heard of the Omni 10 once before, when it shot through the FCCs database, though it didnt really help us piece it all together. No matter, for Microsofts store now shows the Windows 8.1-touting HP Omni 10 in stock, with a thorough specs sheet and snaps in tow.

To start off, the Omni 10 is actually looking quite promising – it sports a Gorilla Glass 3-protected 10.1-inch 1080p display thats being powered by one of Intels latest, most advanced ultramobile SoCs – the Atom Z3770, based on the silicon slingers Silvermont 22nm architecture. These Bay Trail chipsets are Intels bid for entry into the mobile space, something theyve struggled with mightily, and the company actually boasted that these new chips are going after the likes of Snapdragon 800. Preliminary tests of the tablet version of the SoC (Merrifield is Bay Trails smartphone counterpart), show that the chipset is actually handling itself very well, especially on the CPU side of things. GPU performance isnt as great, though, despite it relying on a admittedly watered-down version of the GPU found on Ivy Bridge SoCs (Intel Gen7).

Back to the basics, the Z3770 runs a quad-core configuration with cores that run at 1.5GHz, though they can turbo-up to 2.4GHz when needed (and provided that the Omni 10 can properly dissipate the extra heat). On the memory side of things, you get 2GB of LPDDR3 1066MHz RAM and 32GB of microSD-expandable native storage. The rest of the specs sheet touches on the 8MP Auto Focus/LED Flash and 2MP rear and front shooters, respectively, the battery that Microsoft claims is good for up to 8.5 hours, and the existence of a Micro HDMI slot, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11a (b/g/n). The relatively heavy (630g) and seriously generic-looking slate is ready to ship for $399 for the 32GB version, though it doesnt seem like you can tweak the amount of storage available, which is a shame.
